Hi, I’m Theresa!

My journey into dog training began with one very special dog—Milo, my wild and wonderful yellow Lab. When Milo came into my life, I quickly realized that, even though I had grown up with dogs, I’d never truly trained one. Wanting to give her the best life possible, I enrolled us in a basic six-week training class. But it didn’t take long for me to see that this was just the beginning of something much bigger.

As fate would have it, the training center was looking for interns, and I jumped at the opportunity. I was so grateful to be accepted. Over the next few years, I immersed myself in hands-on learning and discovered a deep passion for helping dogs and their people. That passion led me to become a certified professional trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy.

It’s been sixteen years since I took in a stray who changed everything. I thought I was helping Milo—but the truth is, she changed my life in the best ways imaginable.A
